Kitchen is not only cooking, preparing meals, that kind of art made of secrets celebrating the tastes; kitchen is also spaces, architectures, scenarios where history has met the all-day life during the centuries, when the opulence of the nobles' banquets and the misery of the poor people have created what we call the ''Italian cooking''.
We have decided to analyse this world thanks to the book ''The kitchens' soul'' by Rita Boini and Marco Nicoletti. Here are the authors that lead us in a small trip to the Umbrian reality
