The Assisi Endurance Lifestyle is back: on 9 February, the second edition of the event organised by sistemaeventi.it will be presented at 12 pm, in the Sala degli Sposi, in the prestigious Palazzo Vallemani (which hosts the city Picture Gallery), in Assisi. The 2008 edition, 11 to 15 June, will present and paint a picture of Umbria which, by focusing on enhancing the land and its points of excellence, creates a true and tangible link between the region and the rest of the world thanks to the novel marriage between sport, economy, tourism, entertainment shows, culture and international relations.
The 2007 edition received 34,000 visitors and the organisers’ objective is to improve their format further this year. Continuity and innovation will be the reference elements for the great June event that will confirm its philosophy inspired by total quality thanks to encounters and exchanges of experience between different peoples.
Saturday morning will bring together protagonists of the sports and the institutional world to illustrate and give a preview of Endurance Lifestyle 2008. Host of the day will be the Mayor of the seraphic town, Claudio Ricci, who once again has given his support to this event that is becoming more and more deeply rooted in the framework and the soul of the town also because - as the organisers of both feasts wanted - it has been linked to the May Day Feast that, in Assisi, communicates a most profound spirit.
Gianluca Laliscia, the representative of the Umbria Endurance Equestrian Team, the sporting component of the event, which this year, is proposing the Italian National Championship and the Young Riders and Pony award, will reveal the technical novelties of the event.
The Assisi Endurance Lifestyle 2008 will be a reference point also for the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation that will be represented by the President of the Endurance Division, Aurelio Riera, who will give further explanations of the unmistakably important technical details.
The general philosophy of the event, on the other hand, will be illustrated by Andrea Jengo, the general coordinator who has joined the organisation this year in order to further optimize the event. He will not be alone, there will also be Laura Paglicci Reattelli, the President of the Perugia Soroptimist Club, who will illustrate the conference dedicated to women and designed as always to offer an opportunity of dialogue between East and West, and Stefano Cimicchi, the President of the Umbria APT, who has undertaken to stress all possible major synergies offered by Assisi Endurance Lifestyle 2008.
